Okay, I get that they're fucking up Star Wars expanded universe.

But Lion King?!?

Lion King?!?

There is so much subcanon and semicanon already established and widely accepted by the fandom. There are so many (great) comics and stories that are going to be destroyed by this. Uggh.

Anyways, they're making a Disney Junior show about Simba's new son, "Kion."

TLK 1 1/2 was such a bad money grab.
Now they're gonna squeeze more money from the franchise.
I dunno. I'm not too happy about it, to be honest. (If you couldn't tell already.) I mean, they could really, really mess TLK up.

However, this does mean that there's gonna be more merchandise and stuff. And more attention. Plus, after so long, it'll be nice to have some new characters and stuff introduced. Maybe even expand the TLK-verse in a good way.

But then again... Kion is like a fricken MLP designed cub. He has like paw print tattoos, pink highlights, and is yet another Simba-clone.

And Disney has a history of messing stuff up while at the same time making some good stuff (Star Wars).

I dunno. I have a lot of feelings about this.
